Bertha Mae Goff

Bertha M. Goff, 76, of California, MO Passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

A celebration of Bertha’s life will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 22, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Boonville. Burial of her cremated remains will be at a later date.

Bertha Mae Goff was born June 25, 1942 in Jefferson City, MO., the daughter of Paul W. Fisher and Vernettie Bryan Fisher. She married Leon V. Goff on August 2, 1959, and they just celebrated 58 years of marriage. Bertha was a stay at home mother, that didn’t only watch her four boys, but also watched many of the neighbor kids also. She loved gardening, writing and doing crafts. Bertha was a jack of all trades and was willing to try almost anything once. Most of all, her family came first, especially her grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, her sister; Betty Ann, and her brothers; James, Richard, Korless, and William Ralph Fisher. She is survived by her husband Leon of the home, her Sons; Daniel Leon Goff and wife Bessie of Jamestown, MO.; Gary William Goff and wife Mary Ann of Bunceton, MO.; Kendall Ray Goff and wife Penny of Armstrong, MO.; Mitchell Vincent Goff of California, MO.; her Brothers; Tom Fisher of Wichita, KS.; George Fisher of Jefferson City; MO.; Clyde “Eugene” Fisher of Brazito, MO.; Raymond Fisher of Searcy, AR.; and Ricky Fisher of Henley, MO. She will be missed by her 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one Great-great-granddaughter.
