Donald Edward Frederick

Donald Edward Frederick, 85, of Boonville passed away Wednesday, May 16 at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Visitation for Donald will be 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday evening May 20 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday May 21 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Joshua Ketelsen officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery with full military honors.

Donald Edward Frederick was born January 14, 1933 at Montreal, MO. to Jesse and Martha Jeffries Frederick. He married Marcella Christine Loesing July 31, 1953 in Boonville, MO. Donald served on MFA Livestock, MFA Exchange and MFA Oil Boards. He was member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on many boards. He was a member of Prairie Home School Board for several years and served in the U.S. Army. He was a Clarks Fork Insurance agent and board director for many years after his retirement from farming full time. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and his passion was farming.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Martha. He is survived by his wife, Marcella of the home, Son, Edward Lee (Dawn) Frederick and daughter, Ruth Ellen Hines all of Boonville, MO. He is also survived by his sister, Anna Mae Schultz and Brother, Larry Joe (Peggy) Frederick all of Boonville He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren; Michael (Alisha) Landreth, Macandy (Thomas) Brown, Gabriel (Jessica) Frederick and Tyler Frederick. Also surviving are his great- grandchildren, Kaleb, William, Alexis and Matthew Landreth and Kyler and Shyla Fairfax.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Donald’s name.
