Donna Sue (Koch) Myers

Donna Sue Myers, 80, of Boonville passed away unexpectedly Friday evening Jan. 5, 2018 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Visitation for Donna will be 6 to 8 P.M. Wed. Jan. 10 at Howard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 11 at the First Presbyterian Church in Boonville. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Donna Sue Myers was born June 23, 1937 in Danville, IL. the daughter of Robert E. Koch and Mildred Irene Swisher Koch. Donna graduated from Purdue University in 1959 and was proud to be an alumni. She was a proud member of the AAUW (American Association of University Women). She married Rex Dale Myers on Dec. 27, 1959 in Danville, IL. Donna and Rex moved to Boonville in 1965 for Rex’s job, Donna worked as a pharmacist at Medical Arts here in town and later worked for the Quinlan Agency. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of Boonville. She loved to do genealogy in her spare time. She loved to cook and bake for her grandchildren. In 1996 Donna and Rex bought a cabin on Loon Lake in Wisconsin and traveled there every year from April until September. Most all her family was her passion and she loved to spoil her grandchildren. Donna built and furnished doll houses for each of her granddaughters.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Rex of the home, Her sons; Rob (Karen) Myers of Boonville, MO., Kent (Joan) Myers of Lakeville, MN., and Gary (Jamie) Myers of Holly Spring, NC.  She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren; Kristen, Maggie, Ryan, Christian, Elizabeth, Hannah, Sarah, Ethan, Emma and Anna.
