Dorothy Ann (Morrow) Bailey

Dorothy Ann Bailey, 86, of Boonville passed away peacefully Monday evening January 7, 2019 at Lakeview Health Care Center in Boonville, MO.

Visitation for Dorothy will be 10 to 11 A.M. Friday morning January 11 at Howard Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 A.M. with Rev. Roger McMurry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Dorothy Ann Bailey was born February 23, 1932 in Cooper County, MO., the daughter of Silas Morrow and Ada Taylor Morrow. She graduated Boonville High School in 1949. Dorothy married Hubert Lee Bailey on September 20, 1952 in Liberty, MO. She worked as a cashier all her life and retired from the UFCW, after retirement she worked at the Bobbers restaurant. Dorothy loved to cook, bake and liked to walk in her spare time. She was a member of the First Christian Church of New Franklin.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Ada, husband, Hubert and brothers, Kenneth, Harold and Donald Morrow. She is survived by her brothers, Zane (Alice) Morrow of Boonville, MO, Larry (Jan) Morrow of Columbia, MO., and numerous nieces and nephews.
