Jack Jewell Watring

Jack J. Watring, 94, of Bunceton passed away Friday morning Dec. 15, 2017 at Ashley Manor Care Center in Boonville.

Graveside inurnment will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Spencer officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Howard Funeral Home.

Jack Jewell Watring was born May 5, 1923 in Clifton City, MO. the son of William C. Watring and Laura Frances Hayes. He married Mabel Nettie Branstatter on October 21, 1944 in Sedalia, MO. Jack worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for over 25 years. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Bunceton Baptist Church. Most of all Jack loved his family especially his grandkids.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, son, Clark Dale Watring, his brothers and sisters; William, Marvin, Granville, Robert, Russell Watring, Myrtle Jeffess, Frances Long and Dorothy Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Mabel of the home, Son, Jack “JW” Watring of Columbia, MO. Also surviving are his grandsons, Tim and Brent Watring and great-grandchildren, Jordan Cochran, Elizabeth, Lillian, Sophia, Remington and Jack Watring.

Memorials are suggested to the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery in care of Howard Funeral Home, 1397 Ashley Road Boonville, MO. 65233
