Marilyn Ann (Lichliter) Morse

Marilyn A. Morse, 87, of Boonville passed away Friday morning December 22, 2017 at Aberdeen Village in Olathe Kansas.

Visitation for Marilyn will be 10:30 to 11 A.M. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Howard Funeral Home, with a memorial service following at 11 A.M.

Marilyn Ann Morse was born November 14, 1930 in Murphysboro, IL. the daughter of Homer Lichliter and Violet Hunziker Lichliter. She married Warren G. Morse on September 18, 1949 in Murphysboro, IL.  Marilyn Ann Morse was a beloved member of her community Boonville, MO for 59 years.  She was an employee of the Boonville Daily News for many years and handled newcomer calls to welcome new folks to the area well into her retirement years.  There was rarely a soul she didn't know and could tell you all about their entire family.  She was a cornerstone in the community and will be deeply missed. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Warren G Morse, her son Mike Morse and wife Bettye, of Fayetteville, AR and daughter Barb M Willard and husband Derrick of Lenexa, KS.  Also surviving are her grandchildren; Steven and wife Sarah and their daughter, Lauren and husband Kevin and their four children, Elizabeth and her husband Matt and their son, and a dog, Augie, that loves her very much
