Marion William Dey, Jr.

Marion W. Dey, Jr. 60 of Boonville, died Monday August 20th from health complications due to Lymphoma.

In his younger years Marion was a member of the Columbia Games Club, Society for Creative Anachronism, Boy Scouts of America, and the U. S Marine Corps.  Marion was an avid outdoorsman often seen camping, hunting, and fishing.  His Love of the scouting influenced the lives of several people. Marion spent several years serving many different roles in the scouting program including the camp commissioner, assistant district commissioner, as well as an associate lodge advisor.

Marion is survived by his mother Florence, father Marion, and step-mother Alberta, wife Margaret, son Daniel, daughter Rebecca, sisters Melene and Janiene, and several other relatives.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 26, at 1pm-3pm at Howard Funeral Home in Boonville. Service will be held following visitation, graveside service to be held at New Salem Cemetery in Prairie Home Missouri following the service.
