Ruby Ann Weathers, 83, of Boonville, MO left to be with the Lord on November 6, 2018. She was surrounded by her family.
Family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am on Monday, November 19th at Howard Funeral Home in Boonville, Mo with Funeral Services following. Interment will follow at Boonesboro Christian Church Cemetery in Boonesboro, MO. Ruby was born on March 23, 1935, the daughter of Lester Gilmore and Mary Jane Gilmore.
Ruby and her former husband, Louis G Weathers, had three children, Dottie Weathers-Gronemeier, Anita Sherrill and Mark Weathers.
Ruby was a life long resident of the Boonville area. She graduated from Laura Speed Elliott High School. During her high school days she loved playing basketball and had a part time job at the Bakery in Boonville. Ruby was a talented artist and produced many beautiful works of art, from spectacular paintings to awesome drawings. She also loved to cook and had been a great seamstress. She was very feisty with a cute sense of humor. She kept up with politics, local and national news and loved debating. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan too. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, time spent with them gave her great joy. Ruby was loved and will be missed so much.
Ruby is survived by her children, Dottie Weathers-Gronemeier (Terry), Anita Sherrill (Dean) and Mark Weathers (Sandra) all of Boonville, MO. Her grandchildren, Shannon Einspahr of Boonville, MO, Dawn Hodschayan (Alex) of Seattle, WA, Erica Lowe (Nick) of Sedalia, MO, Samantha Trenhaile (Reid) of Wentzville, MO, Emily Weathers, Harrison Weathers and Ethan Weathers of Boonville, MO. Her great-grandchildren, Taylor Einspahr, Laynie Einspahr, Rylie Trenhaile and Lillie Tranhaile.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, David Clark, Charles Gilmore, Bobby Gilmore and Lloyd Gilmore.
