Shane J. Ashpaugh, 17, of Boonville passed away Tuesday September 18, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Visitation for Shane will be 5 to 8 P.M. Friday September 21 at the Boonville High School Gymnasium. Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Saturday at the Boonville High School Gymnasium with Rev. Les Cassil officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Shane Jay Ashpaugh was born October 26, 2000 in Tampa, Florida the son of Michael Ashpaugh and Brandy Templemire. Shane attended Boonville High School and was in his senior year. He loved playing his trumpet in band and enjoyed being a member of the Boonville Silver Pirate Marching Band. Shane loved to play jokes and was a well-known jokester to his friends. He never met a stranger and was everybody friend. In his spare time, he loved to play video games and listen to music.
Shane is preceded in death by his aunt, Tera Ashpaugh. He is survived by his parents, Michael Ashpaugh and Brandy Templemire and step-father Adam Templemire all of Boonville, MO., Brothers, Brandon Asphaugh of Minot, N.D., Shelby Ashpaugh, Jaxson and Jagger Templemire all of Boonville, MO. Also surviving are his grandparents, Hiram Lastlinger, Debbie Ashpaugh Lastinger, Elaine Seavers and James Gushlaw, Sr. and great-grandma, Beverly Shadwick. He will dearly missed by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Boonville Silver Pirates Marching Band.
