Thomas J. Green, 80, of Jamestown passed away Monday morning November 26, 2018 at Riverdell Care Center in Boonville.
Visitation for Thomas will be 10 to 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 1 at the Cedron Assumption Catholic Church with a Memorial Mass being held at 11:30 A.M. with Fr. Tony Rinaldo officiating.
Thomas Jefferson Green was born September 13, 1938 in Prairie Home, MO the son of Virgil Green and Lena June Lacy Green. Thomas served his country in the Army from June 15, 1956 until May 31, 1962 in the Special Forces Unit. He married Suzy Imhoff on May 11, 1963 at the Cedron Assumption Catholic Church.
Thomas was a working man, he’s painted many houses around the area. In his spare time you could find him playing a game of cards or croquet. Thomas was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved all of his family but his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and June. He is survived by his wife, Suzy of the home, Children, James Michael ( Cheryl) Green of St. Louis, MO., William Lacy (Sherri) Green of Columbia, MO and Lena Marie Green of Columbia, MO. Also surviving are his brothers, Arnold and Sam Green of Boonville, MO and sister, Rena Chamberlin of Tulsa, OK. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Taylor and Spencer Green, Cayla Carlson, Cooper, Carter, Abby and Olivia Green.
