Warren Ernest Helmreich was born June 17, 1955 in Boonville, MO, the son of Edward and Anita Helmreich. He graduated from Boonville High School in 1973. He married Jill Scheuneman on October 25, 1980 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Billingsville. He was a member of the Boonville Eagles Aerie 1022 and St. John’s United Church of Christ. He worked for the family business all his life until 2009 when he “semi-retired” and drove his semi-truck hauling grain. He took pride in helping to keep his family’s farm looking nice and spent many days mowing from sun up till sun down. Mooney was proud of everything he did. He loved to drive his truck hauling grain for many local farmers and never considered it a job but something that he enjoyed. He never missed a chance to spend time with his friends and enjoyed riding his Harley with them. Most of all, Mooney loved his family and loved playing with his “Best Buddy”, his grandson, Aiden.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Anita, brother, Glenn Edward Helmreich and sister, Nancy Kathleen Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife Jill of the home, son, Jason Edward Helmreich of Boonville, MO., and daughter, Jenna Nicole Helmreich of Chicago, IL., and grandson, Aiden Drew Seawood of Chicago, IL.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. John’s United Church of Christ of Billingsville Cemetery Fund.
