Ada Sue (Toler) Kilgore

Ada S. Kilgore, 97, formerly of Boonville, died August 7, 2022, at The Neighborhoods in Columbia.

Visitation for Ada will be held at Howard Funeral Home Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Fairley officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Ada Sue Kilgore was born June 22, 1925, the daughter of Freeman and Nana Mae (Sears) Toler. Ada lived and worked most of her life in Boonville. She married Harry F. Kilgore July 3, 1946. They were married 35 years. After retiring, Ada enjoyed reading, tending to her many plants and flowers, preparing meals for her family and spending time with her loved ones.

Ada is preceded in death by her parents Freeman and Nana Mae Toler, brother Gene Couser, and husband. She is survived by her son Harry L. Kilgore and his wife Sherry of Columbia, grandson Scott Kilgore and fiancé Tina Paschal of Jefferson City, great granddaughter Sidney and Natalie Kilgore of Jefferson City, sister Billie Robinett, and numerous nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
