Algera Corine Davis, 78, of Boonville passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Visitation for Algera will be held at Howard Funeral Home Friday, July 22, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Fairley officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Algera Corine Davis was born October 18, 1943, in Windsor, Missouri, the daughter of Emmett Oliver and Lilly Pearl (Robison) Potter. She married the love of her life Jack Davis November 4, 1962 in Syracuse, Missouri. Algera was a devoted mother and most enjoyed being with her family. She cherished being outdoors and loved to travel to sunny locations, the mountains, going on cruises and looked forward to the annual float trips with those she loved. Jack and Algera were a team in every sense of the word. They worked together their entire working lives and were the ultimate supporters of their children and grandchildren. Algera will be remembered as a loving, gentle, beautiful, kind, and devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Algera is preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Lilly Potter, husband Jack Davis, son Bradley Wayne Davis, brothers Gene and Darryl Potter, sisters Joretta Kendrick, Sue Van Black, and Bethany Kempf. She is survived by sons Wes Dean (Kathy) Davis, Robert Ray (Gretchen) Davis, and daughter in law Lisa Davis. She also leaves behind grandchildren Helen Wright (Lindsay), Morgan Rioux-Forker (Dana), Jacob Davis, Grant Davis (Tori), Jeremy Davis, Anna Davis, Adam Davis, and great grandchildren Allistor Davis, Jackson Rioux- Forker, Bostyn Wright, Tynlee Wright, and Lucy Rioux-Forker and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
