Annetta (Craig) Mitchell

Annetta Mitchell, 91, of Boonville passed away Wednesday June 7, 2023, at Riverdell Care Center.

A visitation for Annetta will be held at Howard Funeral Home Monday, June 12, 2023, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Tim Fairley officiating. Annetta and her husband Thomas will be laid to rest together in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville.

Annetta Mitchell was born May 15, 1932, the daughter of Paul Craig and Rita Freeman. Annetta married Thomas Richard Mitchell on June 28, 1950, in Boonville. Annetta enjoyed snow birding in Florida, bowling, events with grandchildren, and spending as much time as possible with her family.

Annetta is preceded in death by her parents and husband Thomas Mitchell. She is survived by her sons Thomas Richard Mitchell II, Douglas Eugene Mitchell, Tracey Lee Mitchell, and Clinton Dale Mitchell, daughters Elizabeth Gale Sandgren, and Sonja Ann McHale, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Thomas “Dick” Richard Mitchell, 80, of Boonville passed away November 23, 2009, at his home.

Thomas was born October 10, 1929, in Boonville to Gordon and Alice (McFarland) Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Annetta of the home; four sons, Nick Doug, Tracey, and Dale; two daughters Gale and Sonja; one brother William; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
