Bernice Genevieve “Geneva or Verna” Noble, 92, of Boonville passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Riverdell Care Center.
Visitation for Bernice will be held at Howard Funeral Home Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Fairley officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
Bernice Genevieve Noble was born December 29, 1929, the daughter of Fred and Roxie (Dillard) Schneider. She married Donald Noble July 11, 1947, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Bernice worked at McGraw Edison- Toastmaster for over 20 years where she retired. After retirement Bernice enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, playing bingo, bird watching and watching the Andy Griffith show. She enjoyed waking up every morning to KWRT radio and loved traveling especially out west. Bernice also loved spending time with her grandchildren and would play uno with them. She loved her little dogs and cats and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Her fun, loving personality will be forever missed.
Bernice is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Roxie Schneider, husband Donald Noble, son Jerry Noble, daughter Linda Noble, brothers Melvin, Donald, Carl and Bob Schneider, and sisters Velma Strange and Helen Lieurance. She is survived by her son David (Vivian) Noble, daughter Carolyn “Jeanne” (Randy) Filger, and daughter-in-law Mary Noble. She also leaves behind grandchildren Bruce Noble, Mike Bradshaw, Steven Bradshaw, Eric Noble and Stacy (Noble) Long, great grandchildren Lexie Noble, Christopher Bradshaw, Stephanie Bradshaw, Kayla Bradshaw-Jenkins, Chase Bradshaw, Samantha Bradshaw, Katie Noble and Jayden Noble, and great-great grandchildren Lainey Bradshaw, Whitley Bradshaw, Elizabeth Noble-Fisher, and Annabella Fisher.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
