The family looks forward to seeing and hearing from you all.

Brian was born May 23, 1998 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri to Michael S. and Julie A. Brown. He graduated from Boonville High School in 2016. While in high school, he enjoyed playing soccer and was a member of the band. Three years in a row, his trombone quartet went to the state competition where they achieved the highest rating. He was also very active with the Boy Scouts. His senior year, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout after creating a Stream Team to improve the stream that runs along the Katy Trail in Boonville.

Brian did so many things and loved so many people and at the end of the day, his biggest passion was for animals. It started before he was even old enough to walk. He loved to take care and bottle feed any kitten that he came in contact with and could often times be found outside, with one kitten under each arm and a trail of kittens following closely behind him. Once he was old enough to drive, he spent a lot of his free time rescuing animals and making sure that they had a safe and warm place to stay. Many animals are in a better place with a loving family because of the love and kindness Brian provided them. He was bright, funny, ornery, thoughtful, kind, and had a heart of gold for people and animals nobody wanted.

Brian is survived by his parents Michael S. Brown and Julie A. Brown of Boonville, sisters Cecilee W. B. (Brent) Platz of Prairie Village, Kansas, Alexis T. Brown of Kansas City, Missouri, Marissa Y. Brown of Columbia, Missouri, and brother Anthony M. Brown of Columbia, Missouri. He is also survived and will be missed by his nephew, Bruce C. Platz, grandparents Philip F. and E. Denice Warnken of Columbia, Missouri, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Phoenix Program (90 East Leslie Lane Columbia, MO 65202).
