Brian Force Obituary

Brian Keith Force was born to Wilda Harrison and Richard Force in Akron, OH on December 29, 1971.  He married Jennifer McGuire on August 23, 1997, and they welcomed one son Hunter Force on November 29, 1999.

Brian graduated from Boonville R-1 High School in 1990 and went on to attend the University of Missouri, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Management in 1995.

He worked for May Company in the Famous Barr division as a buyer from 1995 to 1997.  In 1997 he and his wife purchased Breadueaux Pizza in Boonville Mo and in the following years opened an additional location in Fayette, MO and Warrensburg, MO.  During the day you would find Brian in the kitchen flipping pizza dough and, in the evenings, he would be in the dining area socializing and having a beer with patrons.  In 2004 he was ready to pursue a new entrepreneur venture.  Brian and his wife opened a mattress and furniture business behind the Breadeaux Pizza in their Fayette location.  This business evolved and eventually sold the restaurants and expanded into other items, mainly hot tubs. Brian was largely known as “the hot tub man” having the largest selection on hand in the area.  Brian always said he wanted to be his “own boss” and his hard work, determination, ability to take risks and never give up attitude allowed him to live that dream.

On August 28, 2024, Brian shed his earthly pain and made a graceful exit surrounded by his wife Jennifer, son Hunter and dearest friend David Bruce.  (Brian never could shake David-even at the end)

The last year of Brians life were a struggle as the ugly grip of cancer took hold. Brian continued to cherish the warm embrace of friends & family and found comfort whenever surrounded by conversation and laughter.  Brian never stopped absorbing the love coming from those around him.  He never stopped being Brian.  A passionate man of principle and integrity.  Brian was “living his best life”.  He was outspoken, maybe too much at times….. He was funny……a little crude, but he would make you laugh until you cried.  Brian was known for not holding back his opinion and knack for telling it like it is.  He always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear.

He was beloved by everyone who ever met him, A fantastic father, a great husband and a best friend to all walks of life.  No matter the circumstances, you’d always leave with a story of something funny or crazy that occurred while you were with him.  As far-fetched as the stories go, they were all true. Brace yourselves as you will hear many at his Celebration of Life.

His passion/obsession for hunting, fishing and the great outdoors took him to all parts of the world.  He made multiple trips to Alaska, Canada, Utah, Mexico and his ultimate “home away from home” Warsaw MO where he was considered a “local”, driving the famous silver bullet.  As people would stare in complete awe and confusion of his truck, he always had the same response “It’s not for sale!”.   He would travel to hunt Elk and Bear and fish everything from Salmon, halibut, tuna, marlin and his true love Walleye. When Brian wasn’t hunting or fishing you could find him at one of his farms.  Discing for food plots, planting sunflower plots, brush hogging or fishing in his ponds.  One thing was for sure he always had his beloved dogs with him, Outlaw Josie Whales and his purse dog Willow (AKA Booby Doo).

He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor.  He truly brought the life to the party.

Today and Forever, he flies free……….

He is survived by his Wife Jennifer Force, Son Hunter Force, Mother Wilda Harrison all of Boonville, Father and Step Mother Richard and Lyda Force of Hubbard, OH, Brother Chris (Kim) Force Praire Home, MO, Sister Deanne (Greg) Koch of Hermitage, PA, Mother in Law Mary McGuire, Brother in law Mike (Lindsay) McGuire all of Boonville MO and many nieces and nephews, along with his dogs Josie and Willow.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sister Deborah Putteet, Father-in-Law Gerald McGuire, and the best labrador retriever ever, Baby Girl.

Please join us for a Celebration of Brian’s Life on Saturday, September 7, 2024, starting at 11am with lunch at noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1515 Radio Hill Road, Boonville, MO 65233.

Memorial Contributions can be made out to the Brian Force Memorial Fund.

In Brian’s memory, we are starting a Non For-Profit Organization, with the assistance of Lee Brandkamp, former owner of Powder Horn Guns & Sporting.  Brian and Lee both shared the passion for the outdoors and getting the youth educated and interested in the outdoors and shared many conversations in regards to the next generation of hunters and fishers.   The organization will focus on taking the youth of our local community hunting and fishing.
