Carl E Reynolds

Carl E. Reynolds, 79, of Boonville was called to his heavenly home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018, after a valiant battle with cancer.  Visitation will be held at Howard Funeral Home, 1397 Ashley Road Boonville, MO, on May 12, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service.  He will be interred at a later date in Kearney, Missouri. 

Carl was born in Urich, Mo in August 28, 1938.  He graduated in 1956 from Kearney High School, Kearney, MO.  In October 1959, he married his high school sweetheart, Janice Stephens.  Carl served in the Army Reserves from December 1956 to September 1962.  After his military service, Carl worked as an Accountant and Banker for over 40 years. 

Carl was a lifelong Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church in Boonville, MO.  Throughout his life he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at various First Baptist Churches in Missouri.  He also worked hard to improve and maintain church properties after his retirement in 2003.

Carl was preceded in death by his biological parents and foster parents, his sisters Josephine, Mary, and Susan; brothers Arlie and Charles; sister-in-law Joyce.  He is survived by his wife, Janice of the home, two sons Thomas (Marie) of Columbia, and Robert of Boonville.  He was very devoted to his two grandchildren Brian (Kimberly) and Kristin both of Columbia; along with one great-granddaughter Alayna of Columbia.  Also surviving is one brother J.B. of Harrisonville, MO, two sisters Thelma of Vancouver, WA and May of Fort Scott, KS, one brother-in-law Charles of Mulvane, KS; as well as many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Boonville Youth Program or Samaritans Purse Christmas Shoe Box Program C/O First Baptist Church of Boonville.
