Carolyn Sue Blank, 65, of Columbia passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center.
Services for Carolyn will be held at a later date.
Carolyn Sue Blank was born September 9, 1956, the daughter of Marion and Alice (Kempf) Blank. Carolyn worked for Columbia Public Schools for 25 years. She worked last at Alpha Hart Lewis School in the Nutrition Service department where she will be deeply missed.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Alice Blank, and son Justin Earl Preston Blank. She is survived by her sons Troy (Amanda) Blank of Blackwater, MO, Roger Blank of Hermann, MO, brothers William (Janice) Blank of Odessa, TX, Charles (Janice) Blank of Pilot Grove, MO, Dale Blank of Pilot Grove, MO, and Donald (Cheryl) Bonen of Pilot Grove, MO, sisters Linda Holmes of Syracuse, KS, Brenda (Roger) Marsh of Allen, TX, and Elizabeth (Randy) Hughes of Kansas City, KS. She also leaves behind grandchildren Tayler Schermerhorn, Kellen Schermerhorn, Brady Blank, Alena Blank, Jordan Danter, Bryson Blank and Joshua Burnett and four great grandchildren.
