Surrounded by her family, Clare Mary Trelc-Lang, 85, of Boonville passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021.
Visitation for Clare will be held from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.
Clare Mary (Eimer) Trelc-Lang was born March 9, 1936. The daughter of August and Clara (Welfenberg) Eimer.
Clare married William Trelc Sr. October 16, 1954, they were blessed with three children, William Jr., David, and Christy. She was preceded in death by William Sr. in 2005.
Clare married William “Bill” Lang, November 29, 2009. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, The Knights of Columbus, Council 1061 Ladies Auxiliary, Benedictine Oblates, Boonville Women’s Club and Legion of Mary. She was also a member of a bridge club, loved to read, craft and work in her flower garden. One of her favorite things to do was cook for her family as she enjoyed having them all together. Clare’s fun-loving personality will be greatly missed.
Clare is survived by her husband William “Bill” Lang of Boonville, sons William (Mary) Trelc of Greenville, TX, David (Pam) of Emporia KS, and Christy (Rusty) Linhart of Boonville. Step children Anthony Lang, Marvin Lang, Sandra Henry, Patricia Banz, Christine Litwiller, Denise Brooks, Angela Lang, Phillip Lang, Peter Lang, and Tom Lang, sisters-in-law Nadine and Jan Eimer, grandchildren, Stephanie Bosiljevac, Aaron (Jan) Trelc, Angel (Chris) Felten, and Kyle Stevko, great grandchildren Kaden, Karli, and Addison Bosiljevac, Harrison, Ella, and Kennedy Trelc, Sophia, Gabriel, and Riley Felten, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Clare was preceded in death by her husband William Trelc Sr., her parents, and brothers Robert (Ruth) Eimer, August (Cookie) Eimer Sr., Richard (Pearl) Eimer Sr., Eugene (Jeanne) Eimer, John, and Herbert Eimer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to SS Peter and Paul Catholic School are suggested.
