Dale Dinwiddie Obituary

Dale Duane Dinwiddie, age 64, of Boonville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at The University of Missouri Hospital.

Visitation for Dale will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Eldon, Missouri from 10 to 11 A.M., with a Memorial Service following at 11A.M with Pastor Lowin Wayne Dinwiddie officiating.

Dale was born on July 19, 1959, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Hargis and Ilene (Barbee) Dinwiddie.

Dale graduated from Eldon High School. He then served his country in the Air Force for 2 years. Dale worked for Southwestern Bell for several years, then spent 21 years in the Department of Corrections, retiring as a Case Manager.

Dale loved going on adventures. He and Judy traveled to many scenic and awesome places. Antiquing was another passion of Dale’s. He and Judy found many treasures exploring various antique malls. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan, always giving an accurate post-game analysis. He had an amazing voice and sang whenever he could get the chance. But most of all, Dale loved his children, his family, and God. He was very spiritual and lived his life to reflect this.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Hargis and Ilene Dinwiddie.

He is survived by his significant other, Judy Moser of Boonville; his children: Dale D. Dinwiddie II (Leslie) of Kansas City; Daphne Dinwiddie, and Toby Dinwiddie (Dolly), all of Eldon, Paul Dinwiddie of Tuscumbia; siblings: Lowin Dinwiddie (Sheila), Renee Hall, Alletta Cranmer (Dale), Anthony Dinwiddie (Tami); 5 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends also survive.
