Earl E. Holliday, 87, of Boonville passed away Thursday afternoon July 19, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia.
Visitation for Earl will be Monday July23, 2018 at Howard Funeral Home from 9:30 to 11 A.M. A funeral service will be following the visitation at 11 A.M. with Pastor Anthony Fusco officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Earl Edward Holliday was born September 16, 1930 in Bunceton, Mo., the son of Arthur Holliday and Clara Schmidt Holliday. Earl served as a Corporal in the Army during the Korean War. He married Juanita K. Zey on October 15, 1955 in Cedron, MO. Earl Worked 36 years as a lineman supervisor for Union Electric retiring in 1991. Earl loved to piddle at the farms, but in his spare time he loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed traveling with Juanita on trips. Most of all Earl was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with all of his family.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, wife Juanita, daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Mark Twenter, great-grandson, Landon Holliday, brother, Arthur Holliday and sister, Lois Nott. He is survived by his son, Mike (Pam) Holliday of Columbia, MO., daughter, Kathy (Doug) Wallace of Boonville, MO., brothers; Sam and Charles Holliday of Prairie Home, MO., Roy Holliday of Boonville, MO., sisters; Edna Rybar of Springfield, IL., Rose Fontana of Prairie Home, MO., Doris Owens of West Plains, MO., Nancy Moser of Columbia, MO., Jane Friedrich and Joy Clingenpeel both of Wooldridge, MO. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Brandon (Alicia) Wallace, Amanda (Sean) McClusky, Zach (Jessica) Holliday, Lindsay Wallace, Alex Holliday and Austin Wallace, great grandchildren, Lillian Wallace, Grant McClusky, Sawyer Wallace, Emma McClusky, Madelyn Holliday and two on the way.
Memorial are suggested to the American Cancer Association.
