Edward Bruce Hein, 70, passed away in his home in New Franklin Friday, November 20, 2020.
A celebration of life for Edward will be held October 9, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery with full military honors.
Edward Bruce Hein was born October 13, 1950 the son of Wilbur Eugene Hein and Velma Ruth Johnson. Edward graduated from New Franklin High School in 1968. He then moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he joined the United States Army. Edward retired as a Sargent First Class after over twenty years of service including a tour in Desert Storm. Edward was a career truck driver traveling the country for many years of his life. He moved back home to the Boonville area in 1993 and spend the last ten years in New Franklin.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Velma Hein and a sister Nancy Kay Meyers. He is survived by his children Kenneth Edward (Kate) Hein and Christina Renee (Michael) Decoufle, brothers Melvin Eugene (Meg) Hein, Thomas Michael (Stephane) Hein, sister Ruth Ann (Marvin) Graves, and granddaughter Cardin Curtin Hein.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Boonville Immanuel Lutheran Church.
