Eloise Joan (Reiter) Einspahr

Eloise J. Einspahr, 86 of Boonville, MO passed away February 5, 2021 at her home. 

Eloise was born August 24, 1934 in Kearney, Nebraska to Ernest and Irma (Frederick) Reiter, one of seven children.  She attended school at Lower Buckeye Valley, Nebraska and graduated from Kearney High School, Kearney, Nebraska in 1953.  She was married to Glenwood Einspahr on October 25, 1953, her husband of 67 years, who survives of the home.

She moved with her family to Boonville, MO in 1970.  She also resided in St. Louis and Poplar Bluff, MO before returning to Boonville for retirement.

She enjoyed her screened in porch, watching birds and wildlife in her backyard, flower and vegetable gardening, being outdoors, cooking for large family gatherings, going for a drive, and being with her family.

Other survivors include her children Berdon Einspahr (Suzanne), Delene Mitchell (Doug), Blaine Einspahr (Randa Rawlins), Britt Einspahr and Brock Einspahr, grandchildren including Ashley, Mason, Kristan, Alana, Liam, Trent, Taylor, Laynie and Ethan Einspahr, brother, Irving Reiter (Marie), brother-in-law Kenneth Beahm, sisters-in-law Kathy Reiter, Gwen Reiter, Germaine Casper and Jan Einspahr, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Stanley Reiter, Bruce Reiter, Larry Reiter, and sisters Carolyn Corlis and Pauline Beahm.

There will be a private family funeral and burial.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Autism Speaks (www.autismspeaks.org).
