Etta E. Wallace, 85, of Barnett formerly of Boonville passed away surrounded by her family Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab.
Visitation for Etta will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Howard Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Tounzen officiating, Burial will follow in Boonville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Etta E. Wallace was born August 4, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Cluster (Williams) Agent. She married Billy Wallace in Mississippi November 18, 1955. Etta stayed home taking care of her children, then began working as a homecare provider for the elderly. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, crocheting, and quilting. Her favorite memories were with her family camping, she loved going camping and spending time outdoors. Etta’s fun, loving personality will be forever missed.
Etta was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Wallace, brothers Gene, Ollie, and Pate Agent, sisters Ann Holman and Dorann Agent, and son Donald Wallace. She is survived by her daughters Rhonda Russell of Barnett, MO, Karen Hyde of Granite City, IL, and Terry Townsend of Cottage Hill, IL, 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
