Frank Aldridge Hunter Jr.

Frank Aldridge Hunter Jr., 66, of Boonville passed away surrounded by family Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Lakeview Health Care and Rehab Center.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at the Knights of Columbus in the Columbus Room on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Frank Aldridge Hunter Jr. was born January 17, 1956, the son of Frank Aldridge Sr. and Dorothy (Casper) Hunter. He married Pam Fitzgerald May 12, 1972; in this union they had a son Frank William “Butch” Hunter. Frank was in the US Army for 3 years. Frank enjoyed hunting especially mushroom and arrowhead hunting. He also enjoyed fishing and collecting butterflies, he had a love for animals. Frank raised various breeds of chickens, a peacock and various flowers and plants; he had a green thumb like you have never seen. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents and brother Samuel “Sammy” Kosfeld Jr. He is survived by his son Frank William “Butch” (Jonelyn) Hunter of Fayette, sister Linda (Larry) Grissum of Boonville, companion Pam Fitzgerald, grandchildren Kortney (Zane) Nichols, Pamela-Sue (Douglas Barton) Hunter, and Arizona Blue (Justin Terrell) Hunter, and great grandchildren Emersyn and Beau Nichols and baby Kaydence Terrell on the way. He also leaves behind niece January (Kevin) Wadeen, nephew August (Lindsey) Friedrich, three great nephews and two great nieces.
