Frederick “Freddie” Wayne Duncan, age 63, of Boonville, passed away on Sunday September 7, 2025. He was born in Howard County on May 13, 1961, the son of Marvin Duncan and the late Edna “Jane” (Townlain) Hickam.
Freddie attended Boonville High School. He was employed as a Pressroom Manager for the Boonville Daily News for over 25 years. After he retired, he was an independent contractor lab courier.
Freddie grew up in Howard/Cooper County area and was always happy, kind person who loved helping others. He was a music lover and great dancer. Freddie enjoyed playing Black Ops Zombies. He loved his chocolate and Mt. Dew. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandbabies and family.
Freddie is survived by his father Marvin Duncan; daughters: Samantha (Glenn) Boehmer, Kelsey (Kevin) Cauley all of Boonville; brothers: Glenn Bishop of Boonville and David (Roxanna) Duncan of Prairie Home; sister Angie Duncan of Fayette; granddaughters Gemma and Amira.
He was preceded in death by his mother Edna Hickam.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Howard-Millard Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
