Gail Ann (Gerke) Chenault

Gail (Gerke) Chenault, 63, of Boonville passed away Tuesday evening March 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

Visitation for Gail will be at Howard Funeral Home Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Bohnenstiehl officiating.

Gail (Gerke) Chenault was born August 4, 1957 the daughter of Elwood Joseph Gerke and Winifred Lammers. Gail graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1975. She married Larry Chenault on April 26, 2014 in Boonville. Gail enjoyed camping, fishing and just being outside. She was always the life of the party making everyone around her laugh. Gail loved to see people happy, especially her family. Her family was everything, Gail loved to host get togethers and cook for everyone. She enjoyed all the time she had to spend with them. She was loved and will be dearly missed.

Gail was preceded in death by her father Elwood Gerke, stepfather Joe Fancler, and brothers Randy, Ricky, and Gary Gerke. She is survived by her husband Larry Chenault of Boonville, Mother Winifred (Lammers) Fancler of Tipton, stepmother Juanita Gerke of Ashland, sons Tracy (Ashley) Friedrich of Boonville and Travis Chenault of Warrenton, daughter Stephanie Chenault of Sedalia, siblings Vivian Noble, Lois porter, Dana Brant, Ronnie Gerke, and Rhonda Bookout, and grandchildren Trent Chenault and Henry and Oliver Friedrich.
