Geraldine Eliza (Scantlin) Walker

Geraldine Eliza Walker, 84, of Boonville passed away surrounded by her family Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Visitation for Geraldine will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at Howard Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Purvis officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Geraldine Eliza Walker was born May 25, 1936 the daughter of Orel Scantlin and Mildred Brown. Geraldine was a member of the Firm Foundation Church. Geraldine loved to travel, especially going on cruises. When she was home, she loved to cook, and she was an exceptionally good cook! Geraldine always had the Hallmark channel on. She especially loved to watch the Christmas in July movies. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Geraldine loved to dance, and she was an incredibly good dancer. She was always fun to be around and was loved by everyone who knew her. Geraldine will be dearly missed.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband William Russell Craig and second husband Dale Elmer Walker. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Mike) Koonse and Christy Craig of Boonville, brother Jack Scantlin of Boonville, grandchildren Tyler, Rachel, and Brandon Koonse of Boonville, and niece Teresa (Steve) Gerke of Boonville.
