Harold Elwood "Tony" Kelley

Harold Elwood “Tony” Kelley, 92, of Boonville passed away Wednesday February 17, 2021 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.

Visitation for Tony will be Tuesday February 23, 2021 at Howard Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Billingsville with full military honors. Masks are not required but they are recommended.

Harold Elwood “Tony” Kelley was born October 28, 1928 the son of James Lee Kelley and Olive Bledsoe. Tony graduated Boonville High School in 1946. He then attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville. Tony served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps then later in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life Audrey Kirchner on August 17, 1951. Audrey and Tony loved to go to auctions together, it was one of their favorite things to do. They also loved to go to the casinos. Tony loved his family and enjoyed all the time they spent together. Tony loved his friends and going to The Cove, he even had his very own spot “Tony Kelley Honorary Bouncer”. Tony was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents James Lee Kelley and Olive Bledsoe, wife Audrey Kirchner, and brothers Kenneth and Roger Kelley. He is survived by his sons Tim Kelley of Boonville and Terry (Angie) Kelley of Columbia, grandchildren Chad, Grant, Matt, and T.J. Kelley, Christina Frederick and Taylor Gee. Also surviving are several great grandchildren.
