Harriett L. (Morris) Jones

Harriett L. Jones, 100, of Boonville passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Riverdell Care Center.

Visitation for Harriett will be held at Howard Funeral Home Monday, November 13, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Harriett L. Jones was born January 28, 1923, the daughter of Garth and Emma (Moore) Morris. She married William Jones on August 29, 1952, in Fayette, Missouri. Harriett worked at the Selwyn Shoe Heel Factory. She enjoyed church activities, helping at Savy Seconds and the food bank. She also enjoyed going to the Senior Center. Harriett loved working in her yard and talking to her neighbors. Harriett was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Harriett is preceded in death by parents Garth and Emma Morris, brothers Dak, Harold, and Harvey Morris, sisters Hazel Foster, Susan Schrag, Ruby Garrison, Maude Burks, and Sarah Kelley. She is survived Blake (Nathalie) Groves who she helped take care of and their two little girls. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, cousins, and family.
