Henry W. Oser, 95, of Boonville passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Riverdell Care Center.
Visitation for Henry will be 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Monday December 13 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with a Rosary being recited at 9:45 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial follow at 10:00 A.M with Fr. Derek Hooper officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Henry William Oser was born September 13, 1926, in Howard County, MO., the son of William Oser and Rose Ginter Oser. He married Frances Ruth Nagel on July 7, 1949, in New Franklin, MO. Henry served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1945 to 1946. He worked for Holsum Bakery for 34 years until his retirement and then worked at NAPA here in town. Henry could fix anything and would work in his garage from the time he got home until it was time to come inside for the evening, he fixed everything with his little pair of pliers. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. Henry was a family man that loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and great grandkids. He was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1061.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rose, wife Frances and brothers, Joe, Robert, Bernard, Walter, Bill and Lawrence Oser, sisters, Anna Marie, Wilhemene Oser, grandson-in-law, Aaron Imhoff and great-grandson, Ethan Simkins. He is survived by his children, David (Jill) Oser of Prairie Home, Karen (Alan) Stodgell of Boonville and Janet (Jim) Waibel of Prairie Home. Also surviving is a sister, Barbara Worley of Pilot grove, grandchildren, Kim Stodgell, Claudia (Jeff) Simkins, Austin (Sarah) Waibel, Lindsey Imhoff, Tanner (Ashley) Dodson and great-grandchildren, Madison and Samantha Simkins, Waylon, and Brynlee Imhoff, Jonesie and Henry Waibel and Rhys Dodson.
