Howard "Bud" Moore

Howard “Bud” Moore, 81 of Houstonia formerly of Boonville passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.

A Celebration of life for Bud will be held Friday June 2, 2023, at Howard Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Howard Moore was born August 21, 1941, the son of Howard and Bernadine Moore of Speed, Missouri. Bud loved his children and great grandchildren. He was an excellent carpenter and wood worker, he loved to build anything. He enjoyed working in his shop and made so many beautiful things. He was a person of many talents and trades, he learned everything on his own. Bud was big hearted and if he loved you, you knew it and a fierce protector of what and who he loved. Bud gave his heart to the lord on May 23, 2023, He is now at rest and at home with the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby, sister Marcella Amick , and grandchild Skyler Moore. He is survived by his wife Linda of Houstonia, MO, children Lissa (Tony) Mocadlo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rick (Melanie) Moore of Pilot Grove, MO, Mitch Moore of Pilot Grove, MO, and Jim Moore of Speed, MO. He also leaves behind grandchildren Aaron, Sasha, Sarah, Jordan, and Cody Moore.
