J.D. Holman, 91, of Boonville passed away Sunday morning December 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation for J.D. will be 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday, December 31 at Howard Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow at 11 A.M., with Pastor Chris Greenhagen officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
J.D. Holman was born April 9, 1929 in Livingston County, Kentucky the son of Charles L. Holman and Linnie (Day) Holman. J.D. was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War (1951-1953). He married Anna Mae Agent on September 5, 1953 in Marion, Kentucky. He enjoyed watching his birds, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, picking up pecans, camping and fishing. He worked for 3M in Columbia for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boonville. Most of all J.D. was a family man and enjoyed every moment with his family.
J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Linnie, wife, Anna Mae and granddaughter, Kristi Holman. He is survived by his son, Randy (Marcia) Holman of Boonville, daughters, Donna Coates of New Franklin, Pam Laboube of Tyler, TX, and Tina (Steve) Jones of Dayton, WY. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren; Melissa and Rodney Anderton, Elizabeth and Chris Baker, Chance LaBoube, Jeff Holman, Caitlin and Brian Pendegraft, Brittany and Gabe Gonzalez and Dakota Jones. Great-great grandchildren, Matt and Avery Anderton, Kaleb Anderton, Claire Holman, Kaylee Baker, Braeden Baker, Tifa and Tristan Gonzalez, Levi, and Lathan Slate. Also surviving are his great-great-grandchildren, Keaton Anderton, Emma Anderton, Wyatt Slate and Jesse LaBoube.
