Janet Lee (Hendrix) Snider

Janet L. Snider, 44, of New Franklin passed away Saturday morning October 6, 2018 at her home after a brief illness.

Visitation for Janet will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, October 9 at Howard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, October 10 at Howard Funeral Home wit Rev. Ken Stacey officiating. Burial will follow in the Boonesboro Cemetery in Boonesboro, MO.

Janet Lee Snider was born March 24, 1974 in Fayette, MO., the daughter of David Wayne Hendrix and Sandy Kay Smith Hendrix. Janet graduated New Franklin High School in 1992. She married Kevin Dwayne Snider on November 1, 1997. Janet loved to attend her daughter’s ballgames. She was quite the avid fisherman and loved to collect pictures from over the years. You could say Janet was a happy go lucky type of gal, she was witty and never hesitated to call you out on anything you did wrong or something that wasn’t right. Most of all she loved her family and friends, she never knew a stranger and could talk to anyone.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, David and Sandy and her daughter Kelsey Mae on June 9, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Kevin of the home, daughter, Casondra Snider of Versailles, MO., brother, Darrell Hendrix of New Franklin, MO., and sister, Ronda Rickerson of Mexico, MO.
