Jeffrey Morris Carey

Jeffrey Morris Carey, 58, of Troy, Missouri passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.

Visitation for Jeffrey will be at Howard Funeral Home Monday, November 29, 2021, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Fairley officiating. Burial will follow in Bunceton Masonic Cemetery.

Jeffrey Morris Carey was born August 27, 1963, the son of David and Linda (Morris) Carey. He graduated from Bunceton High School in 1981 then attended college at Linn State Technical College. He majored as an Autobody Technician; he was very good at anything autobody. It was amazing what he could do. Jeffrey enjoyed baking; he was always making a cake for someone. He also enjoyed cooking and being with his family. Jeffrey was a very loyal, happy, do anything for anybody kind of guy.  He didn’t say much but when he did, he was always joking around. His fun, loving personality will be forever missed.

Jeffery is preceded in death by his brother Michael Carey. He is survived by his parents, David and Linda Carey, son David Carey of Troy, MO,  three stepchildren he loved as his own Patrick Kerley of California, MO, Tyler Achilles of Wellsville, MO, and Maria Mory of St. Louis, MO, sisters Anna (Brent) Kahle of Boonville, MO and Amy (Lee) Elliott of Troy, MO, sister-in-law Lisa Carey of O’Fallon, MO and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
