Jerry Dalton Sells, 77, of Prairie Home, Missouri passed away at his home Monday, March 15, 2021.
Visitation for Jerry will be Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Howard Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a private family service and burial to follow. The family requests that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Jerry Dalton Sells was born August 5, 1943 the son of Jodie Sells and Marjorie (George) Sells. Jerry graduated from Prairie Home High School in 1961. He married the love of his life Glenda Muri on October 9, 1965 in Jamestown, MO. Jerry enjoyed traveling with his family and fishing in Canada. He was very happy being outdoors, mowing lawns, attending the Prairie Home Fair, and playing fast pitch softball in his earlier years. Jerry also loved watching westerns and listening to country music. He enjoyed Mizzou sports and Cardinal baseball. Jerry would give the shirt off his back to help anyone he could. He was loved by many and will be so dearly missed.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Jodie and Marjorie Sells, sister Jeanie Foster, and brother Jim Sells. He is survived by his wife Glenda Sells of the home; sons Gregory Sells of San Francisco, CA, and Craig (Renee) Sells of Portland, OR, and grandchild Julian Sells; brothers Bobbie Sells of Prairie Home, MO, Wayne (Annette) Sells of Columbia, MO, and Donnie (Brenda) Sells of Prairie Home, MO; sister Dena Taggart of Prairie Home, MO; and sister-in-law Kay Sells of Prairie Home, MO.
