John Matthew Davis

John Matthew Davis, 83 of Boonville passed away surrounded by his family Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Visitation for John will be held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 8:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mark Smith officiating.

John Matthew Davis was born October 11, 1939, the son of Mathew and Elizabeth (Murray) Davis. John married the love of his life Patricia Wessing September 28, 1963 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove. John was an active lifelong member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1061.

John is preceded in death by his parents Mathew and Elizabeth Davis, and brother Robert Murray Davis. He is survived by his wife Patricia Davis, son Matthew Cary Davis, daughters Michele (Tim) McCormick, Mandie (Sam) Goedrich, and Marie Davis, and sister Mary Elizabeth McClary. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
