John Haerle Willers

John Haerle Willers, 85, of Boonville, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Riverdell Nursing Home in Boonville. He was born on April 28, 1940, in Boonville, Missouri, the son of Challace and Martha (Haerle) Willers.

There will not be any services held at this time.

John graduated from Boonville High School. He married Sharri Wermers on September 20, 1962, in Boonville, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves from 1963 – 1969.

He worked in sales driving a box truck for several companies, his favorite being Simpson Tobacco Company.

He was a “piddler” and enjoyed working on cars.

John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharri Willers of Boonville; son Mark Willers of Springfield; daughters: Robin Stauffer (Charlie Turner) of Conway, Arkansas, Stacia Pusateri (Marc) of St. Louis; sister Nancy James (Andy) of Gravois Mills; grandchildren: Christian Willers (Allie), Lexi Boardman (Cameron), Dustin Ponder (Cori); one great grandchild and one on the way.

John was preceded in death by his parents Challace and Martha Willers.
