Justin Hinshaw

Carl Justin Hinshaw, 65, of Boonville passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Visitation for Justin will be 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday evening June 22 at Howard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Tracy Cook officiating.

Carl Justin Hinshaw was born October 25, 1956, in Columbia, MO., the son of Cecil Allen Hinshaw and Hazel Francis Hampton Hinshaw. He attended Hickman High School and graduated in 1975. Justin helped his dad with the family plumbing business and continued the tradition for over 30 years. He loved golf and played football at Hickam High School and later played slow pitch softball for years. Justin loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Justin was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Hazel, brother, Phillip Hinshaw and sister, Shelia Hinshaw. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Marty Howell of 31 years, daughters, Mary (James) Melloh of Ferndale, WA., and Rachel (Phil) Henderson of Raymore, MO., brothers and sister, Kevin (Janice) Hinshaw, Eric Hinshaw and Becky (Danny John) Hinshaw all of Columbia, MO. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Zoe and Mac Henderson, Desmond, Jolene and Ansel Melloh, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
