Kenneth “Kenny” Leroy Nauman, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Katy Manor, Pilot Grove.
Visitation for Kenny will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Weisenborn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Kenny was born March 19, 1934 in Lone Elm. He was the son of Walter and Lydia (Pethan) Nauman. He married Elizabeth “Betty” Sloan October 3, 1953 in Boonville, MO. Kenny was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm. He had served in the Missouri National Guard.
Kenny began farming with his father at an early age and had been a life long farmer in the Lone Elm area. He worked part time for Hawkins Implement Company, John Deere and Bunceton MFA. He also did custom farming jobs for people including combining and baling.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Betty, his daughter Dorothy (Howard) Draffen, his grandson Christopher (Melissa) Draffen, great granddaughter Emma Draffen and step great grandsons Clayton and Wyatt Kendrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Norbert (Helda) Nauman and Herbert (Verna) Nauman and three nieces and three nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Zion Lutheran Cemetery or Zion Lutheran Church.
