Kimberly Ann Hilden, 55, of Boonville passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at her home.

Visitation for Kim will be at Howard Funeral Home Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Kimberly Ann Hilden was born May 2, 1967, in Fayette, to Herman Joseph and Phyllis Ann (Twillman) Hilden. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1985 then attended Rockhurst first before transferring to the University of Missouri Columbia where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. She worked at Walmart part time while attending school which became full time after graduating and held many different titles before retiring in August of 2022 after 33 years where she acted as the “Unofficial” boss. She loved life and was a true and loyal friend who engaged in travel, concerts, music festivals, weekend getaways, dinners, shooting pool, supporting women’s rights, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, dressing up in costumes for Halloween or other contest and many other adventures. She loved animals and was parent to many different fur babies including her dear Olive and Winston.

Kim is preceded in death by her father Herman Joseph Hilden. She is survived by her mother Phyllis Hilden of Boonville, Missouri, brother William “Bill” (Shari) Hilden of Dunedin, Florida, sister Sondra “Sondie” (Johnnie) Wells of Fayette, Missouri, nieces Haley Hilden (Ryan Townlain), Kelly Wells (Bryant Thomas) and Kristena Wells, and great nephew Brylan Thomas as well as numerous cousins and other relatives. She also leaves behind numerous close friends including Chrissy, Elsa, and Jack Kelley-Marcum, Michael Marcum, Anna and Sara Pascoe, and many more.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society or Second Chance.
