Loretta Lee (Dupuis) Koller

Loretta L Koller, 75, of Boonville passed away Tuesday afternoon February 19, 2019 at University Hospital in Columbia surrounded by her family.

Visitation for Loretta will be Sunday afternoon February 24 from 3 to 5 P.M. at Howard Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 5 P.M. Cremation will take place after the service and burial will be later in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

Loretta Lee Koller was born April 19, 1943 in Sandstone, MN., the daughter of Lawrence Dupuis and Dorothy Johnston Dupuis. She graduated Sandston High School in 1961. Loretta met her husband Joseph Koller while they both worked for Our Own Hardware in Minneapolis MN. and were married on May 1st, 1965 in Hinkley, MN. Loretta had a love for motorcycles and her airplane as she had her private Pilot License. Loretta enjoyed many winters at the El Valle del Sol Resort in Mission TX. She enjoyed trips across the border, in search of a good Margarita and going to the casino. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards especially bridge, keeping her flower gardens looking good and bowling. Most of all she loved her family and couldn’t wait for the grandchildren to come over.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy, Sister, Lorraine Lindner and grandchildren, Maddie and London. She is survived by her husband Joe of the home, Son, Scott Koller and wife Sharla of Lone Jack, MO., and Daughter, Heidi Twenter and husband Danny of Pilot Grove, MO. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Zachary Twenter, Lance (Kendra) Twenter, LeeAnn (Jhon) Giguere, Joshua (Mariah) Ayres, Jared (Colby) Ayres) Chance Ayres and eight great-grandchildren.
