Louise (Bishop) Friedrich

Louise (Bishop) Friedrich, 88, of Boonville passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Riverdell Care Center.

Visitation for Louise will be held at Howard Funeral Home Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s UCC Cemetery.

Louise Friedrich was born April 14, 1933, the daughter of Wilbur and Hattie (Mabrey) Bishop. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1951. Louise married the love of her life Robert C. Friedrich February 15,1952, to this union three sons were born James Wayne, John Michael, and Tony Dale. She worked as the secretary of the superintendent and school board for 30 plus years. Louise was an active member of the St. John’s UCC Church, she participated in the Women’s Guild, vacation bible school as well as many various other activities. Vacation bible school was always a special time for her, she had all of her grandchildren over to stay that week so everyone could participate. Louise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her husband Robert. She was also known for her famous blackberry pie. Louise’s fun, loving personality will be forever missed.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Ann Gilliam, brother Charles W. Bishop and grandson Joshua Friedrich. She is survived by her husband Robert Friedrich, sons James (Nancy), John (Stacie), and Tony (Carolyn) Friedrich, and sister-in-law Betty Jane Bishop.  She also leaves behind grandchildren Suzanne (Aric) Pearson, Alison (Zach) Braddy, Christine (Jacob Corbin), Daniel (Melissa), and Esther Friedrich and great grandchildren William, Samuel, Theodore and Charles Braddy, Lucas, Benjamin and Maisie Friedrich and Adrienne Pearson and numerous close nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John’s UCC Church or Cemetery fund.
