Madge Darlene Scott was born October 23, 1936, the daughter of Roscoe and Laura (Elgin) Butler. As a mother of four she was involved with PTA, class trips and school activities. Madge worked hard to provide for her kids, often working more than one job. It was not an easy life, but filled with love and many memories. Madge loved her title as Mom, but really enjoyed her title as Grandma! She collected items such as beanie babies, hallmark seasonal pins, John Deere, or whatever the kids loved. She was a great cook with the family favorites being homemade noodles, salmon patties, lemon cake, chipped beef gravy and angel food cake with seven minute frosting. Madge enjoyed playing cards and going on trips with her friends. She sent cards every holiday, birthdays, and special occasions with a $2 in them. Madge loved having the grandchildren for the weekend on the farm in Prairie Home. The weekends included trips to the creek, arcade at Jefferson City Mall, wiener roasts with smores and lots of playing with the cousins. Madge was a one of a kind mom and grandma and will be dearly missed.
Madge was preceded in death by her parents Roscoe and Laura Butler, husband Dorsey Scott, brothers Ralph Stewart, Monte Butler, and Curtis Butler, and grandson Jeffery Rinacke. She is survived by her sons Kevin Rinacke and Bob (Diana) Rinacke, daughters Tammy (David) Ellebracht and Jean Ann (Paul) Young, brother John Butler. She also leaves behind grandchildren Holly (Joe) Rehmer, Ryan Ellebracht, Tyler (Jaime) Ellebracht, Connor Ellebracht, April Young, Amanda (Cole) Watring, Niki (Shawn) Rinacke, and Ethan Rinacke and great grandchildren Zachary Rehmer, Bryson Rehmer, Aubrey Rinacke Rehmer, Banks Ellebracht, Charlie Watring, Henry Watring, Oliver Watring, and Marie Watring.
