Maymie Pearl Wallace-Eaton, age 78, of Boonville, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 22, 1946, in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of Francis and Ruby (Holman) Farlow.
Maymie attended school in Sedalia. She was a waitress at Midway Restaurant for over 48 years.
Maymie was a member of the Firm Foundation Foursquare Church in Boonville, where she enjoyed being the Head Deaconess for 40 years. She was a dancer and could be found square dancing or clogging in past years. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, playing cards, volleyball, softball and doing crafts. She loved going to garage sales and watching sunsets, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Maymie is survived by her husband Mel Eaton of Boonville; her children: Jimmie Lee Glover, Mark Allen Glover, Christina Hazel Glover, David Wayne Wallace, Milaina Ann (Wallace) King, Michael Eaton, Melody (Eaton) Dowling; siblings, Daisy Wren, John Farlow, Dorothy Stone; grandkids: Amanda, Andrea, Austin, Linda (peanut), Sarah, Abigale, Sarah, Holly, Tyler, James, Allison, Kathy, Kayla, Tiffany, Sydney; and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Johnny Ray Glover and Tommy Wallace Jr.; her husband of 33 years, Thomas William Wallace; and grandson Chris Hooper.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Firm Foundation Foursquare Church in Boonville, with a funeral service to follow at noon at the church. Interment will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia at 3:00 p.m.
