Myrtle Ruth (Willit) Coy

Myrtle Ruth (Willit) Coy, 88, of Boonville, MO passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Riverdell Care Center.

Visitation for Myrtle will be Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Howard Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Purvis officiating. Burial will follow in Clarks Chapel Cemetery. 

Myrtle Ruth Coy was born April 2, 1932 the daughter of Harve Willit and Hazel Ruth Michener. Myrtle graduated from New Franklin High School. She married the love of her life Leon Coy on November 18, 1950 in New Franklin, MO. They have been married 70 wonderful years. Myrtle enjoyed watching the birds and feeding God’s creatures. She loved watching all the beautiful flowers grow and bloom. Myrtle was also a great cook and would always be doing crossword puzzles. She was so much fun to be around and will be dearly missed.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters. She is survived by her husband Leon Coy of the home, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Friendship Four Square Church of New Franklin.
