Nicole Denise Mondaine

Nicole Denise Mondaine, age 31, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Fairview Nursing Home in Sedalia, Missouri. She was bon in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Rodney Mondaine and Monica Smith. 

Even through her disabilities, Nicole was a fighter!! She was also a fashionista with a beautiful smile! She was always decked out and loved having the staff help her change her outfits. She loved music, stuffed animals, horses, rabbits and watching funny movies. She was loved and cared for by her Missouri Mentor staff, who all adored her. Even though she was mostly non-verbal, they knew exactly what she needed, and what she liked and didn’t like. She was loved by her family and friends and loved all of them back. 

She is survived by her mother Monica Smith of Jefferson City; father Rodney Mondaine; brothers Eric Smitha and Darrick (Brittany) Calvin; sister Ronisha Mondaine, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones. 

Funeral Services will be held at Parker-Millard Funeral Services, 12 E. Ash St. Columbia, Missouri with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a burial to follow at Columbia Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Howard Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
