Norman Kent "Kenny" Clarke, Jr.

Norman Kent “Kenny” Clarke Jr., 67, of Boonville, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Katy Manor. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at Howard-Millard Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. John Clear Creek Cemetery in Clear Creek.

Kenny attended Boonville High School. He married Carolyn Sue Vollmer on May 26, 1984, in Pilot Grove, Missouri.

Kenny was born on March 4, 1958, to Norman and Bonnie Clarke. Kenny was a devoted husband to Sue, a proud father to Wes and Melinda, and a loving grandfather to Logan. He worked tirelessly throughout his career, beginning at Price Chopper, Lang’s Amoco, years at Toastmaster and ending with Schwan’s. After an accident at Schwan’s, he sustained a spinal cord injury that left him a quadriplegic. For the past 19 years, Kenny has faced profound physical challenges with remarkable resilience and strength. Rather than allowing limitations to define his life, Kenny focused on what matters most – family, friends and fun. He was known for his humor, energy, and love of dancing, cards, and horseshoes.

Kenny is survived by his wife Carolyn “Sue” Clarke of the home; children: Wes Clarke (Brandy) of Franklin, Missouri, Melinda Jenks (Tommy) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one grandson Logan Kent Clarke; siblings: Dennis Clarke (Ronda) of Boonville, Doug Clarke (Sharon) of Boonville, Sherry Redden, Tracy Clarke-Romig (Bob) all of Texas; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Donna Perkins.
