Patricia Ruth (Ricker) Searfoss

(Patricia) Ruth Searfoss, 91, of Bunceton, MO passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Katy Manor, Pilot Grove, MO.

Visitation for Ruth will be at Howard Funeral Home on February 21, 2025 starting at 10:00 am with funeral service following at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Johns United Church of Christ in Billingsville, MO.

Ruth was born December 23, 1933 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ the 7th child of Harry Adolphus and Clara Ann Ricker.  She was married to Harris W. Searfoss on February 12, 1954 and raised two beloved sons in Washington NJ. She graduated from Warren County Technical School of Practical Nursing, Washington NJ in 1979.  In 1983, Ruth and Harris moved to Cooper County where Harris and son Kim established Searfoss Industries.  Ruth worked as a nurse at Colonial Gardens Nursing Home and then at Cooper County Memorial Hospital. After retirement from nursing, she worked as a Licensed Pharmacy Tech at Walmart until she was 81.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Harris.  She is survived by her sons Kim [Rosalie] Searfoss and Joel [Marianne] Searfoss and by her grandchildren Mariah [Jody] Carmichael, Megan [Joe] Baker, Josiah Searfoss, Amanda [Tyler] Little, Abigail [Kyle] Kimminau and Evan [Lauren]Searfoss.  Also, survived by her great grant children Edison, Madilyn, Sophia, Morgan, Harriet, John, and Clara.

The family would like to thank all the care givers at Hartmann Village and Katy Manor for their devoted care to Ruth over the last few years. 

Memorials are suggested to St. Johns United Church of Christ cemetery fund or to the fund of your choice in her honor.
